SCHOOL HISTORY
Mary Matha English Medium School, Pothencode established in 1968 and now the school is celebrating 50th year of Jubilee. School is owned and managed by the religious community of the Congregation of Daughters of Mary, St.Mary’s Province.
Initially established as a Nursery School, the school has the following years, become a well-known school with a curriculum from State Government that has enlightened many children in this area.From 2005 -2006, the school was able to provide better education by erecting a new building for the school.
Since there was no direct approval from the State Government, the CBSE endeavored to do so. CBSE was approved in 2012, the same year the first batch of class 10th students were released for higher study. Our children are completing their high school studies with 100% success over the past 7 years.
This year we are celebrating 50 golden years of our school. We officially inaugurated the Jubilee ceremony on 4th January 2019. For a period five decodes the school has been unfailing by forming integrated and empowered students. Our alumni have excelled in various fields, many of them being very successful in varied paths of life. We are planning lot of activities and programmes to mark the golden jubilee Year.
