Entrance Festival of LKG kids is held on 08/06/2017 Thursday in the school premises.
Classes for UKG Students begin on 05/06/2017 Monday in the new academic year.
School will be reopened on 01/06/2017(Thursday).
Mary Matha English Medium School is run by the congregation os the Daughters of Mary. The School aims at the allround development of the child so that he/she may live a meaningful life.
Besides mere intellectual education of the students, the school places great emphasis on the careful development of the moral and social habits which are the basis for the formation of virtuous citizens.
PTA EXECUTIVE MEETING
An Executive Meeting of PTA will be held on 30/06/2017 Friday at 3 p.m in the school.
School is being dedicated to the Sacred heart of jesus on 28/06/2017 Wednesday at 10 a.m
The new comers of KG section were accorded a grant reception with the escort of Band Melam and adorning them with golden crowns. The school was all set to welcome them. On the same day there was an interaction with the parents of the kids too in the presence of the PTA President to inform them about the rules and regulations of the institution including the Time table.
World Environment Day was observed in a fitting manner. Some of the Students and Staff members spoke on the importance of protective environment. Placards were prepared by Secondary school students. Students of primary section collected Medicinal plants and they were planted in the school campus. The leaders and members of Eco Club took initiate for the activity.
School reopened after Summer Vacation. The Staff and Students were in high spirits to welcome the new academic year. They seemed to be refreshed and rejuvenated after the tight programme of the past year. Rev.Sr.Priya Paul, Ms.Resma S Ramesh, Ms.Raji N.S., Ms.Anurakhey V.S, Ms.Chandralekha. S. and Ms. Aryamol. A. joined the staff. Sr.Tresa Peter, the Principal welcomed all warmly and wished a successful and blessed academic year to all.
TEACHERS' TRAINING PROGRAMME
From 15/05/17 to 20/05/17 Training Programmes were arranged for teachers on the auspices of Ananthapuri Sahodaya at various Venues. Our school hosted Two Training Programmes- for English language Teaching and Dealing of Adolescent issues. Mr.K M Mathew the Master Trainer of C B S E was the resource person for English in which 27 teachers participated from various schools. Mr.Sujith Edwin Pereira led the classes on Adolescent issues and there were 42 participants in it. Both of them were fruitful and successful.
